Flex is the measure of the racquet’s stiffness; high flex numbers mean a stiff racquet. Low flex is good for absorbing the impact energy, but high flex is good for bounce. Since bounce was assumed the same for all racquets (COR = 0.85 under all benchmark conditions, for all models), and flex was an evaluation criterion, the rankings here give preference to low flex. Expert players generally prefer low flex racquets.
